The Bug Flu Inn was a a brief, improvisational collaboration between Joel Hibbs, Chad Matheson, Shaun Epperson and Brett Horton, involving one chance meeting between the four which resulted in this EP and another one-time-only encounter on a live stage. After recording the songs, they gathered outside the country studio to brainstorm band names. Nothing was catching, until suddenly an insect flew into the drummer’s shirt, whereby Matheson exclaimed, “The Bug Flew In!”
